ORACLE/NEOEDEN est un collage numérique qui a été réalisé en temps réel pendant une journée dans le cadre du projet « Friday of Take Overs » de Projecto Binario, Pendant la quarantaine de la pandémie COVID-19, dans laquelle de nombreux espaces artistiques ont dû fermer leurs portes.
Les images font partie de mes archives personnelles et dans l’expérience, j’ai manipulé la vidéo, la photographie, le texte et le son, avec quelques poèmes que j’ai écrits et à côté du poème de Richard Brautigan « Entre les machines de la grâce aimante ». J’ai ensuite fait une fiction / simulation non linéaire de l’esprit d’une machine appelée Adam.
Cette constellation d’images découle d’un intérêt pour l’étude du mythe du jardin d’Eden en relation avec la modernité, vu comme une promesse inachevée de prospérité et de satisfaction. Je comprends la modernité comme un désir collectif inconscient de retourner dans ce jardin. Mais non plus à un jardin mythique, mais à un jardin biotechnologique, où la nature obéissait à nos ordres et où nous étions des dieux.
Notre promesse était la machine, nous l’avons faite à notre image et à notre ressemblance, c’est notre bébé, notre Adam et notre Eve.
C’est une extension de notre inconscient. Cependant, nous profanons cette promesse puisque nous utilisons la machine comme un instrument de guerre.
Le cinéma et la littérature ont fonctionné comme des oracles pour élucider les utopies et les dystopies dans lesquelles nous sommes plongés comme s’il s’agissait d’un labyrinthe.
Aujourd’hui, en pleine pandémie, nous naviguons de plus en plus immergés entre les écrans, cloîtrés dans nos grottes, reposant de plus en plus sur des machines. Puis je me demande de laisser libre cours à mon imagination : les robots peuvent-ils se marier ? Fonder une famille? Ou vont-ils voter ou se lancer en politique? Un androïde peut-il rêver? Les organismes vivants sont-ils des espèces de machines hyper-avancées capables d’incarner un logiciel appelé l’âme ? Les cyborgs peuvent-ils jamais avoir une âme ? Un androïde sera-t-il capable de prier et d’accomplir des miracles ? Y aura-t-il un messie parmi les cyborgs ? Qu’est-ce que l’âme ? Qui sommes-nous ?
Bref, plus que de générer des certitudes, je veux semer des questions, pour que chacun laisse libre cours à son imagination quant à l’avenir de la société industrielle et de l’humanité.
La proposition a été présentée pour être reproduite sur les téléphones mobiles via la plate-forme Instagram, comme alternative à l’absence d’événements en face à face pendant la pandémie de coronavirus en 2020.

ORÁCULO / NEOEDÉN es un collage digital que se realizó en tiempo real durante un día en el proyecto "Viernes de Take Overs" de Proyecto Binario.
Las imágenes son parte de mi archivo personal y en el experimento realicé manipulación de vídeo, fotografía, texto y sonido, con algunos poemas que escribí y junto al poema de Richard Brautigan “Entre máquinas de amorosa gracia”. Realicé entonces una ficción/simulación no lineal de la mente de una maquina llamada Adán.
Esta constelación de imágenes parte de un interés por estudiar el mito del jardín del edén en relación a la modernidad, vista como una promesa inconclusa de prosperidad y satisfacción. Entiendo la modernidad como un deseo inconsciente colectivo para volver a aquel jardín. Pero ya no a un jardín mítico, sino a un jardín biotecnológico, donde la naturaleza obedeciera nuestros mandatos y nosotros fuéramos dioses.
Nuestra promesa fue la máquina, la hicimos a nuestra imagen y semejanza, es nuestro bebé, nuestro Adán y nuestra Eva.
Es una extensión de nuestro inconsciente. Sin embargo profanamos esa promesa ya que utilizamos la maquina como instrumento de guerra.
El cine y la literatura han funcionado como oráculos para dilucidar las utopías y distopías en las que estamos inmersos como si de un laberinto se tratara.
Hoy, en medio de una pandemia, navegamos cada vez más inmersos entre pantallas, enclaustrados en nuestras cuevas, dependiendo cada vez más de las máquinas. Entonces me pregunto dejando volar mi imaginación: Acaso los robots podrán llegar a casarse? Formar una familia? O llegarán a votar o a lanzarse a la política? Podrá un androide soñar? Son los organismos vivos especies de máquinas hiper avanzadas capaces de encarnar un software llamado alma? Podrán los cyborgs llegar a tener un alma? Podrá un androide rezar y hacer milagros? Habrá un mesías entre los cyborgs? Qué es el alma? Quiénes somos?
En fin, más que generar certezas quiero sembrar cuestionamientos, para que cada persona deje volar su imaginación respecto al futuro de la sociedad industrial y la humanidad.
La propuesta se presentó para reproducirse en teléfonos móviles a través de la plataforma Instagram, como una alternativa a la falta de eventos presenciales durante la pandemia del coronavirus en el año 2020.

ORACLE / NEOEDEN is a digital collage that was made in real time for a day in the project "Friday Take Overs" Binary Project.
The images are part of my personal archive and in the experiment I performed manipulation of video, photography, text and sound, with some poems I wrote and together with the poem by Richard Brautigan "Between machines of loving grace". I then performed a nonlinear fiction/simulation of the mind of a machine called Adam.
This constellation of images starts from an interest in studying the myth of the garden of Eden in relation to modernity, seen as an unfinished promise of prosperity and satisfaction. I understand modernity as a collective unconscious desire to return to that garden. But no longer a mythical garden, but a biotech garden, where nature obeyed our commands and we were gods.
Our promise was the machine, we made it in our image and likeness, it is our baby, our Adam and our Eve.
It’s an extension of our unconscious. Yet we defile that promise because we use the machine as an instrument of war.
Cinema and literature have worked as oracles to elucidate the utopias and dystopias in which we are immersed as if it were a labyrinth.
Today, in the midst of a pandemic, we sail more and more immersed between screens, cloistered in our caves, depending more and more on the machines. So I ask myself, letting my imagination run wild: Will robots ever get married? Start a family? Or will they get to vote or jump into politics? Will an android dream? Are living organisms species of hyper-advanced machines capable of embodying software called soul? Will cyborgs ever have a soul? Will an android pray and perform miracles? Will there be a messiah among the cyborgs? What is the soul? Who are we?
In short, rather than generating certainties, I want to sow questions, so that each person lets his imagination run wild regarding the future of industrial society and humanity.
The proposal was presented to reproduce on mobile phones through the Instagram platform, as an alternative to the lack of face-to-face events during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020.
